Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection we can catch excellence.

Welcome,
My name is Bret Walterscheid, and I will be teaching Jr. High English and 7th grade Math this year. I have also accepted the role of Jr. High UIL coordinator and will be working with my fellow teachers to bring a district championship back to Muenster Jr. High.
I was born and raised in Muenster. I graduated from Muenster High School in 2007, I feel very fortunate to be back and begin my teaching career. Soon after graduating, I packed my bags and headed to east Texas and enrolled at Stephen F. Austin State University. While there, I joined the Big Jacks Mentor Program, the Residence Hall Association, Campus Recreation, and Sigma Nu.
I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies in May of 2011. Soon after, I received my 4th-8th grade Generalist Teaching Certificate.
I am looking forward to working with the students of Muenster Junior High and passing on my knowledge to help them become well respected ladies and gentlemen.
